I launched Hillscout in 2021 after spending more than a decade in politics and nonprofit development. I wanted to start a change agency to make a difference in my community and state, and have the flexibility to seek partnerships wherever people are making good trouble and doing the most good for their states.

Since 2021, we’ve been able to partner with political organizations, civic groups, nonprofit agencies, and candidates for public office who want to improve Arkansas and lift up the folks around them. Our roots are rural and our commitment to serving every corner of Arkansas — from the public schools in rural Saline County to the farmers of the Delta and the natural spaces of the Ozark National Forest — is as rooted in our work as it is in our blood.
